The Tulane Center on Climate Change and Urbanism (CCU) was established in 2024 as a platform for research, public programming, and interdisciplinary dialogue on climate and the built environment.
Post Form was asked to lead the development of the Center's visual identity, designing annual graphic systems, publications, posters, animations, and digital assets. While each academic year introduces a distinct visual language, the work collectively establishes an evolving identity for the center across its programs and initiatives.

2024-2025 Identity
The inaugural 2024–2025 identity draws inspiration from the graphic conventions of weather maps and climate visualization. Familiar symbols such as wind vectors, cloud movements, and frontal boundaries are abstracted and recomposed as visual motifs, creating a flexible system that can adapt across a range of media. Using the Tulane School of Architecture’s color palette, the identity establishes a distinct visual language rooted in the representation of environmental forces.

2025-2026 Identity
This process which is slower and far more deliberate than conventional AI use, culminated in a series of drawings. The act of drawing served two purposes. First, it allowed me to expose the strangeness and spatial ambiguity embedded in the plans, which is why many of them uses a worm’s eye perspective that emphasizes the constructed plan. Second, drawing became an act of artistic expression. I wanted the colors, compositions, and peculiarities of each typology to stand out as individual artifacts within a larger system. Because each piece is generated “one image at a time,” the individuality of each typology becomes important; every drawing is a distinct and deliberate exploration of what architectural imagination can become when filtered through artificial intelligence.
